Don't Ovary Act
Get to Know Us
DON’T OVARY ACT is run by Kate Robimon, a high school student who remembers what getting her first period was like. She was a 12-year-old, stuck inside her house due to the pandemic lockdown, who had no idea what she would be in for the next couple of decades.
When school finally did re-open, she didn’t realize that meant going to school with her period. She had no idea on how to deal with any of it - the sneaking products into the bathroom, the battling cramps quite silently, and the constant fear of “oh no, did I leak?”
Thankfully, with a couple of more years on her now, she considers herself an expert when it comes to periods, but can laugh when Mother Nature still finds ways to humble her.
In an effort to bring knowledge and awareness to younger girls, so that they don’t need to make the same mistakes she made, and go through the same trials and tribulations she did, she founded DON’T OVARY ACT.
